Holy crap. Time has flown since I had Buttercup. She's now almost 9 months old. Did I write at all during that time? Well, I guess I maybe wrote a book review? Maybe? If so, it was a WHILE ago. It seems like there's either nothing to write about in my life or I'm too busy enjoying life to write. What a paradox. Well, these past 8 1/2 months have been the latter, and I sure wouldn't trade it for a thing.
Well, I don't want to miss a minute of that sweet girl growing and smiling and cuddling. So, realistically, the only times I should be writing are when I'm at work and stuck away from her or if she's gone to bed for the night. And when she goes to bed, that's my time with my better half so looks like writing at work is what I should be doing. So, I figured out a solution. I got a tablet with a keyboard! This way, I can write at work without lugging around a full laptop, which still has to be plugged in at all times.
I'm sure most of what I have to say has been said, but each of us has our own story and I think I'll work on writing ours.
So I guess this is just to say, welcome to my newest blog, created out of a need to have somewhere to write about parenting (and also because I hate the email associated with the other and I can't change it). Because I haven't advertised this one, be aware that I may not use my filter. I may have my sailor mouth on here. Because I can.
Anyway, maybe I'll keep up with this.
